Welcome to DisMyth, an AI fact-checking service operated by Spirited World Private Limited (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using DisMyth, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
DisMyth lets you submit a claim, link or image and returns an AI-generated assessment — a verdict, a confidence level and supporting sources — produced by a consensus of AI models checked against live web sources. Core checking is free to use, subject to fair-use limits (for example, 5 free checks per day).
DisMyth’s verdicts are generated by artificial intelligence and automated web search. They are provided for general information only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A DisMyth verdict is not professional, legal, medical, financial or journalistic advice, and is not a substitute for your own judgement or qualified advice. Always verify anything important against primary and official sources before acting on it or sharing it. You use DisMyth’s outputs at your own risk.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up. You must be at least 13 years old to use DisMyth.
You agree not to:
We may limit or suspend access that breaks these terms or abuses the service.
You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting it, you give us permission to process it to provide the service (including sending it to the AI providers that power DisMyth) and to show anonymised examples in the public “recent checks” feed, as described in our Privacy Policy.
DisMyth is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spirited World Private Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on a DisMyth verdict. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
